This week we returned home and settled back into our ‘routine’. As I was cleaning and unpacking (and fortunately had most of it done) I threw my back out. I was in quite a bit of pain for a couple of days - no fun! Fortunately I healed fairly quickly and there is no lasting damage. At this age you never know 😬 The picture of the strawberries has a story that goes with it. I was in the Home Depot parking lot and there was a young Mexican selling half flats of strawberries off a hand truck. He named a price - and I negotiated with him (in Spanish) - without even thinking about it. We made a deal and I brought home the strawberries. Of course the first thing Mike thought about was strawberry pie (BTW - the strawberries were amazing! Mike (and I) kept picking at them so there were barely enough left for pies!)
